Dear Connie and Steve,

It is so nice to hear of your adventures! Sounds like you are really making a difference for many animals down there. Not an easy thing when the Dominican culture puts such a low value on animal welfare. So you keep up the good work!

Have the spring rains started yet? Are there kite boarders down there? What goodies were you missing that only Target could provide? Have you found a supply of English reading material? (Whenever we heard that some English speaker was moving off the island, we immediately hurried over to buy all of their books and videos! We watched and read some really odd things!)

I'm looking forward to hearing more on your daily life!

Hugs and Kisses! Deb

Hey Connie and Steve!

Awesome beard Steve! Nice haircut Connie! You both look relaxed and happy and it sound's like you are. That is great!

Your blog makes me long for the third world where everything thing is tranquilo.

Felix is great and growing so fast, but we hit a great wall of power struggle called potty training, and after the special sticker incentive charts got ripped from the wall and shredded, we're backing off. Summer is coming so she can just run naked and pee outside.

All the pack is fine. Hank and Pepper are still at the office... and Norma Jean! You're doing such a great job with rescue, maybe I could bring them down there and you could place them?

Work is still busy busy busy, but good.

Lots of love to you!! It is great to hear from you and see all the pictures!! Hugs and squeezes!

I want to see more CLOSEUPS of you two and your kids. I want a visual of that Dominican hairdo.

Thems some lucky animals. And cute to boot.

Thanks for sharing!

Hey Connie -

Jami Pannell's husband Jeff here. I've enjoyed reading about your experiences and looking at all the photos. What a great time it must be. We may have to visit someday! And keep up the good work!

Best,
